Let's declare the month February [Febru-Any Month] as the ultimate 'Health Month'!

Think about it...traditionally the winter thaw triggers the sap in Maple trees to flow for the perfect topping on pancakes or waffles, oh! & remember when the first Crocus flowers forced their vibrant petals up through the icy snow, what 'a sight for sore eyes' that longed for a little color...these tiny beauties deliver a spark of joy!

But really, color is missing in our lives...the naturally vibrant colors of a healthy diet - rich with nutrients, flavor, texture and fiber! It's time to awaken from the cold distant thinking that has placed us in a mode that conveniently reaches for a tin can - a cardboard box - a plastic bag or a foil pouch to obtain our "food".

"Convenience" needs to now mean: fresh produce grown that is clean & locally sourced.

I have watched many documentaries [as I'm sure you have also] that depict a sad perspective of the global health situation, but what can we do personally?

For a start, whether you Buy it or Grow it...reach for the Spinach & Kale, the Swiss chard & Collard, the Green Apples & Carrots, the Kiwis & Plums, the Cilantro & Lemons, the Mesclun, Parsley & Beet Greens, etc. Really Any Month...[not just February] is a healthy startup month for yourself and your family - start now!

Take The Time: to eat all the naturally vibrant colors in fresh-clean-raw produce, they are the beautiful gems for our well being.
